A day after opening up on the need of a Third Front in the country, the Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) chief and Chief Minister of Telangana received support from various sections of the society, including several political leaders.
While on Sunday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee telephoned CM K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) while Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and former CM of Jharkhand Hemant Soren also extended his support.
Mamata Banerjee conveyed her complete support to CM KCR. She agreed with the opinion of KCR that there is a necessity for qualitative change in country’s politics.
“Hum aap se ek mat hai. Aap ke saath rehinge” (I am in agreement with you. I will work with you) said CM Mamata Banerjee.
Hemanth Soren over the phone expressed his solidarity with CM KCR. He welcomed KCR’s decision to play the key role in national politics.
Along with two MPs from Maharashtra, several prominent persons from different walks over phone expressed their support to TRS chief’s decision for a qualitative change in national politics.
Earlier, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had also supported KCR and gave his full support to the formation of the Third Front.
On Sunday, several intellectuals also reached Pragati Bhawan in Hyderabad in support of the CM’s statement.
Pundits from different temples, representatives of the Brahmin community, mullahs and maulvis from different Masjids, representatives of Muslim organisations, Fathers from churches, Christian religious representatives, Sikh religious representatives, and others also reached Pragathi Bhavan in large numbers to express solidarity with the CM for his statement and expressed the view that KCR should play a key role in national politics.
